Lehni guarantee for indoors and outdoors

1 As the manufacturer, Lehni AG grants its customers a warranty for the warranty period for all products it manufactures. This guarantee applies to design, manufacturing, processing and material defects and applies to the purchaser who has purchased the guaranteed item for private use. The exact conditions of the guarantee are set out in the following provisions.

Important: This manufacturer's warranty expressly applies in addition to and independently of the seller's statutory and/or contractual warranty. However, it is excluded if the buyer makes a claim against the seller for the same defect on the basis of a statutory or contractual warranty. The guarantee therefore does not affect the buyer's warranty rights against the seller.

2 to make a warranty claim, the customer must contact the retailer from whom the furniture was purchased. The furniture must be available in order for the warranty claim to be checked and, if necessary, rectified. In accordance with this manufacturer's warranty, the customer is not entitled to reimbursement of costs incurred in connection with the enforcement of his warranty claim (e.g. telephone and postage costs, travel costs, etc.), unless Lehni AG has acted in breach of contract.

3 Lehni AG grants:
i. a full warranty of 2 years on all products (taking into account points 4 and 8). The manufacturer's warranty is subject to normal use and proper care in accordance with the product care instructions. The warranty period begins with the purchase of the product.

4 excluded from the guarantee are:

  • Damage due to excessive/unintended use
  • Damage caused by accidents or force majeure
  • Damage caused by failure to observe the product specifications
  • Damage caused by improper use, willful destruction, unauthorized tampering or pets
  • Damage due to incorrect use or care
  • Damage caused by chemicals, chlorine, friction, extreme weather conditions
  • Transport and drop damage, scratches, cuts, flash rust, UV fading
  • soiling of any kind
  • Damage caused by sharp, scratching or angular object

5 the scope of the guarantee obligations:
A. Warranty as described in point 3
B. Free repair within the regular warranty period
C. If no repair is possible or economically reasonable, replacement or exchange with an equivalent product (free of charge within 2 years)
D. Warranty services are carried out in the normal course of business and as promptly as possible
E. The decision to repair, replace or substitute lies with Lehni AG
F. No new warranty period begins with the service

6 warranty claims are not assignable without the consent of Lehni AG.

7 additional exclusions:
A. Defects in materials supplied by the customer or ordered outside the collection
B. Use outside the private sphere
C. Custom-made products
D. Defects in materials sent in (quality, suitability, etc.)

8 the guarantee expires if modifications or repairs are carried out without written consent.

9 the guarantee only covers direct costs for rectifying faults. No liability for consequential damage (e.g. loss of use), except in cases of intent or gross negligence. The statutory and/or contractual warranty rights remain unaffected.

10 the statutory warranty applies to commercial use.

11 if a warranty claim is rejected, the claims shall lapse within 6 months of receipt of the rejection.
