Thélonious Goupil is a French industrial designer based in Paris, France. He aims to develop sustainable and intuitive objects self-produced or in collaboration with quality manufacturers such as, Iittala, Lehni or Vitra.
He sees design as a way to explore new lifestyle and shape a world more in tune with real needs and contemporary issues. He seeks shapes by hands, experimenting through confronting real material, and looks for a personal formal language that he wants expressive and poetic.
Apart from design, his investigation also extends in open, collaborative, or artistic projects. In this sense he co-created and co-directs Collections Typologie, a collection of books about ordinary industrial objects.
