Georg Gisel

Georg Gisel

Born in Zurich in 1948, he attended schools in Zumikon and Zurich. He interned in Berlin with architects Fehling and Gogel and subsequently studied architecture at The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in both Lausanne and Zurich. Employed at the Studio d'Architettura Corrado Scagliarini in Bologna. Assistant to Aldo van Eyck at ETH Zurich while also working as a freelance architect. From 1988 to 1998, he taught design and construction at the Technikum Winterthur TWI (now: Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW). Since the seventies, he has worked as a photographer specialised in architecture and art.
