The modular cabinet was the last design by designer and artist Andreas Christen before his death in 2006. It can be customised to meet specific requirements. It consists of a basic module 152 cm in width, which can be extended with add-on modules (73,5 cm) or additional basic modules. Thanks to an ingenious locking geometry, the inside is hinge-free, and the doors open to the entire width of the module. The interior can be customised with shelves, wardrobe rails, drawers and partitions, and all elements can be moved in 15 cm increments. The rear panel of a module can be replaced by a door, making the element operable from both sides. The Modular Cabinet is made of aluminium and is available in various colours (edging profiles always come in clear anodised aluminium). The door handles are available with or without a lock and the feet are adjustable in height.
